Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting
FAIR, the national media watch group, has been offering well-documented criticism of media bias and censorship since 1986. They work to invigorate the First Amendment by advocating for greater diversity in the press and by scrutinizing media practices that marginalize public interest, minority and dissenting viewpoints. As an anti-censorship organization, they expose neglected news stories and defend working journalists when they are muzzled. As a progressive group, FAIR believes that structural reform is ultimately needed to break up the dominant media conglomerates, establish independent public broadcasting and promote strong non-profit sources of information.  FAIR works with both activists and journalists.

Media Lens
Media Lens is a UK-based media-watch project analysing mainstream media bias. What is the objective of Media Lens?  To challenge the claim that the corporate media system is either willing or able to report honestly or accurately on a world dominated by corporate power. The newscast is independently distributed by FSRN, as well as by the Pacifica radio network.  Hosted by Dorian Merina, the newscast relies on more than two hundred freelance reporters, "on every continent except Antarctica", who use the Internet to deliver their audio reports.

Alternative Radio
Alternative Radio is a weekly one-hour public affairs program offered free to all public radio stations in the U.S., Canada, Europe, South Africa, Australia, and on short-wave on Radio for Peace International. AR provides information, analyses and views that are frequently ignored or distorted in other media.  Established in 1986, AR is dedicated to the founding principles of public broadcasting, which urge that programming serve as "a forum for controversy and debate," be diverse and "provide a voice for groups that may otherwise be unheard." The project is entirely independent, sustained solely by individuals who buy transcripts and tapes of programs.

WikiLeaks is a not-for-profit media organisation. Their goal is to bring important news and information to the public. They provide an innovative, secure and anonymous way for sources to leak information to their journalists (electronic drop box). One of their most important activities is to publish original source material alongside their news stories so readers and historians alike can see evidence of the truth. Since 2007, when the organisation was officially launched, WikiLeaks has worked to report on and publish important information. WikiLeaks has sustained and triumphed against legal and political attacks designed to silence their publishing organisation, their journalists and their anonymous sources. The broader principles on which their work is based are the defence of freedom of speech and media publishing, the improvement of their common historical record and the support of the rights of all people to create new history.

The Centre for Research on Globalisation (CRG) is an independent research and media organization based in Montreal.  and is a non profit organization.  In addition to the Global Research website, the Center is involved in book publishing, support to humanitarian projects as well as educational outreach activities including the organization of public conferences and lectures. The Center also acts as a think tank on crucial  economic and geopolitical issues.  The Global Research publishes news articles, commentary, background research and analysis on a broad range of issues, focusing on social, economic, strategic and environmental processes.  The Global Research website was established on the 9th of September 2001. Barely a few days later, Global Research had become a major news source on the New World Order and Washington's "war on terrorism".
